Quinimine were a Montreal-based band led by songwriter Gary Jansz. They existed between 2000-2005. Similar to many of the
bands in the Mile End scene they recorded the majority of their music at the Hotel2Tango studio with Howard Bilerman (Arcade Fire, godspeed you black emperor, A Silver Mt.Zion, Handsome Furs etc.)
He followed up Quinimine with the indie/glitch/electronic outfit Satellite Maps
